Go-to-market strategy and product launches

LAUNCH PLANNING · MARKET ENTRY · CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ALIGNMENT

I have led go-to-market strategy and product launches across global markets, bringing together brand, communications, sales enablement and digital activation into a single, coherent plan.

I thrive in cross-functional roles: aligning with sales, product and leadership to ensure marketing is not operating in a silo but driving directly toward commercial outcomes.

I understand the sequencing, the stakeholder management, and the internal communication that makes a launch land. From market entry to awareness campaign to conversion, I have planned and executed at every stage.

Corporate communications, global PR

EDITORIAL · MEDIA RELATIONS · EXECUTIVE COMMUNICATIONS

My background as a business journalist and Group Editor gives me an unusually strong foundation in editorial thinking, media relations and long-form communications strategy.

I know how stories are built, how editors think and how to position an organisation or leader for sustained media presence rather than one-off coverage.

I have developed and executed communications strategies that span PR, executive thought leadership, content programmes and internal communications, always with a clear sense of what the audience needs to read and why it matters to the business.

Demand generation & pipeline strategy

FULL-FUNNEL · GO-TO-MARKET · PIPELINE CONTRIBUTION

I have driven pipeline generation across the full commercial mix: events, digital advertising, SEO, PR, content campaigns, landing pages, lead capture and customer journey design.

My role has always been to ask the right strategic questions before a single campaign goes live. I want to know who is this customer, what do they need to hear, and why should they act?

I align demand generation activity to value proposition, persona and business objective, ensuring that the wider team has the clarity and direction to deliver results.

Pipeline was never a marketing metric in isolation. It was a shared commercial responsibility and I led it that way.

Personal brand & narrative positioning

LEADER VISIBILITY · NARRATIVE STRATEGY · PERSONAL PRESENCE

I work with senior executives and experts who need to build a clear, compelling personal brand that matches the seniority and ambition of their next chapter.

This work sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling and personal coaching.

I help leaders define what they stand for, build the narrative that communicates it with precision and develop a presence that creates real opportunity.

Whether stepping into an independent career, building a board portfolio, or simply reclaiming a voice absorbed by years of corporate messaging, I bring both the marketing expertise and the coaching lens to make it stick.

Brand, messaging and value proposition

POSITIONING · NARRATIVE · PERSONA DEVELOPMENT

I develop the strategic messaging and positioning that gives organisations a clear, differentiated voice in the market. That means building value propositions that resonate across multiple personas, translating features into advantages and advantages into benefits, and creating the narrative architecture that holds every piece of communication together.

I started my career as a business journalist, which shaped everything about how I think about language, clarity, and audience.

The strongest brands are built on a precise message, consistently applied.

I have spent 20 years building that foundation for organisations across sectors and geographies.

Marketing team leadership & capability building

TEAM DEVELOPMENT · STRATEGIC DIRECTION · CULTURE & PERFORMANCE

Leading a marketing team well is about far more than hitting targets. It is about creating the conditions in which brilliant, passionate people can do their best work.

I believe the best ideas come from teams that feel psychologically safe and genuinely valued. I lead with openness, I learn from the people around me and I create environments where collaboration is real rather than performative. That means managing crucial conversations with honesty and care, navigating cultural difference with sensitivity, and ensuring that even in high-pressure commercial environments, people remain engaged, motivated and aligned to a shared purpose.

My coaching background means I bring a human lens to leadership: I notice what people need, I ask the questions that unlock potential, and I help teams find their focus when things feel complex or unclear.
